Today I am super excited because the Gotham Gazette is celebrating two years!
I have officially launched the website on November, the 23rd, two years ago.
And It's been such a journey to itself-
How do I feel about the Gazette nowdays?
A lot of times I felt unconfident in my work, but overtime I grew with the Gazette and learned to appreciate it more and more. Nowdays, the Gazette is my little baby. My project, that I'm soo happy I stuck with and didn't let go. Even though there where times I thought, "Maybe It's just not that."
But it just took time and a lot of patience, and eventually I "Touched the stars".
How did I get the idea for the website and the name?
The Idea of the Gotham Gazette has been around for me since I started playing. But I had to get more knowledge and be more active in the community to gain the community's trust. So it took a few years, but the Gazette was finally born. The name was pretty obvious for me - I'm a fan of Batman, and DC Comics in general, so I went for the obvious. I wanted it to be comic-based.
And the Gotham Gazette felt just right.
Anything new coming to Gazette?
I have a lot of stuff I'm planning to do. Including "What's Up DCUO?", but I'm so busy I didn't get to it just yet! But I do hope next year will be the year for it. There is a super cool Dev interview on the way too- but I can't say more!
Before I finish, I want to thank my team for their hard dedicated work on the Gazette. Jade, Siramez, Travis (Previously), NoNameFound (Omar) and Donna Troy. They work hard to keep you all up to date and entertained.
Hope to see you all around - I plan to work on the Gazette as long as DCUO is around!
