[Interview] With Soul Draws! (DCUO Player and Artist!)

Soul is a DCUO Player and has been active in the community as an artist, taking commissions of player's characters, and leader of a league called Rift.
Here is our interview with Soul:

When did you start playing DCUO?
"I started playing DCUO in 2013 on PlayStation 3, though I didn’t make my main character Soul till nearly a year later on PlayStation 4."

When did you start drawing?
"I started drawing around 2009 when I first found Anime haha It’s all thanks to Naruto that I really got into art and character drawing."

I know you're the leader of Rift, (As I'm a member of Rift!) What's your favorite part of being the leader?
"Well this is a story all about how my league is really upside down... joking haha I love leading because you get to meet so many different people, old players and new. Also, it’s nice to help and see the newer generation of the game grow and flourish into great players in your own league."

What's your favorite art style?
"Truthful, I don’t really have a favorite style as I love all. I do however appreciate more simplistic cartoon and manga styles. Probably sounds quite weird but I think the simplistic styles are the most detailed, they have more expression, emotion and sometimes they can be the most awkward styles to master!"

Are you planning to take drawing a step further, as a career?
"Definitely! My Arts degree will not be wasted haha"

Did you take any course to improve your art?
"Yes and no, all the courses I’ve done have mainly been games design and modelling. We did 1 lesson a week for 1 year of awkward life drawing in Uni but that was it really."

Any tip for beginner Artists?
"There’s a lot to say to beginners, too much... All I can say is, certain methods work for some but they may not for you. Be patient and find what works for you, art skills take years and years to perfect so just keep at it!"

If a player wants to commission you, what should they do?
"At the moment, nothing. I’ve completely closed my commissions for the time being, but if people want to suggest themes or maybe even something like DCUO style redesign sketches, whatever you think of tag me on Twitter with those ideas and I might do it! xP"

To finish this, is there something you would like people to know about you?
"Yeah, I’m gonna be Hokage one day! Believe it! xD"
