We got the opportunity to ask Megzilla a couple of questions, regards future styles and more. Megzilla is a Concept & UI Artist for Dimensional Ink Company.

What was your favorite style that you made for the game?
"My favorite style is hands down the Shim'tar Regalia set. It's my first original design for the game and I got to make it early on in my DCUO career. I've always been a huge fan of fantasy and armor so making a plate set was a lot of fun. For actual DCUO designs, two of my favorites are Batman Beyond since that was something new and techy for me, and I also really enjoyed The Drowned. I was really excited for those sets to be announced and our character artists did a great job translating them from concept to actual gear. Probably the most fun is when I get to do a style set that addresses player requests in its entirety (like Lobo), or provides pieces that people request (again Lobo pants - some more modern jeans. Or The Drowned pants.)"

What kind of styles can we expect in the future\something you can tease?
"There are some highly requested styles coming with our next episode. That's all I can say though!"

What is the most popular request you meet nowdays?
Probably the most universally requested style is more hairstyles. For actual gear, Wonder Woman is requested quite a bit, more slimlines,
and new street clothes/casual wear."

Can we expect more materials on the market place? (I know this one probably can't be answered, but it was asked by a team member)
"I can't speak to this, sorry!"

What inspires you to make styles (Beside Comics of course) for the game?
"Most of our styles come from the comics; sometimes we will look to the DC statues for inspiration or clarification on comic book design. For things like boots and pants I'll look to real life images to get more realistic seams and wrinkles. Part of the fun of translating from comics is to solve design problems from front to back, and converting those styles onto our bodies. It's also fun translating female designs to male and vice versa - thinking of the Main Man/Lobo design for females, and The Drowned for males. Actually both of those sets were exciting to design because I could picture their pants being used as more casual/street wear."

Any specific style you would like to see in the game yourself?
"I'd really love another opportunity to get some original designs going again! I'd also like to see some updated slimlines. As far as actual suit, I really like this (See Image above) Wonder Woman design since it's armor-y and has a lot of really cool detail in it. I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff!"

We would like to take this moment to thank Megzilla for taking her time to answer the questions, and we can't wait to see what the futures holds for DCUO Styles.
